I usually don’t go for the “you are not alone” messages because I find that they are often campy, repetitive, and are direct appeals to an easily targeted audience. HOWEVER.

It infuriates me that we have a culture so hateful and so bigoted that it requires a national campaign to stop kids from killing themselves because they’ve been bullied into corners of despair, isolation, and self-loathing

It makes me so angry that it honestly brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. But I find some relief knowing that enough people care - especially the allies! - to create that movement that is so needed.

You’re never alone. I know that sometimes you may feel lonely, like the whole world couldn’t possibly get close enough to you to touch you, to wake you from that loneliness, but whatever you think, I promise you that you are not alone.
